Had a wonderful day! Happy Father's Day!

After a long week with long hours of work, we had a nice Saturday night sitting outside at The George Restaurant with Beau and Anne Marie who are in town for a Law Conference.  It was a fabulous, yes, even a memorable dinner.  Sadly I had to get up early Sunday morning and print some things to take with me and head for the airport.  But on the plane, I started realizing I had a long enough layover in Charlotte to go see the Charlotte Rogers Family and visit my granddaughter for the third time.  She was a real sweetie giving me what I thought was a real smile when I fist held her.  She was due for a nap and became fussy so Mom put her down to rest.  We had a pleasant lunch and then Morgan took me back to the airport and I caught my flight to Little Rock.  I'm so glad they are taking lots of pictures.

And because I was off to work at 8 this morning, Joe did the beds at the beach house.  I had all the bags labeled and he had no trouble (he says) getting everything out and replaced with clean.  Rhonda Carroll helped him and he was very pleased with the result.  The Coopers arrived and loved how clean it was (Bonnie said).  Had to call Bonnie to the rescue because the one thing Joe missed was that he was supposed to stay and show them how to get in the house and how to work everything.

Happy to have Bonnie down there!

Just another ho-hum day in Paradise

Well, welcome back!  It seems Morgan, Dory, Boogie and baby to be are blogging and I actually found this old attempt when looking at theirs. 

It has been a quiet day.  I am waiting on folks to send me documents and getting some chores done as well.  We rented the last available week of the beach house today.  It had strangely been asked for and then canceled 3 times and it is the week after July 4th week.  The people coming are returning from last year.  She said it was "just meant to be" and I agree.

Joe is cleaning out the band room. 

Gwen is here working.  I think Tommy is gone for the week and, even though she has to work, she just likes being at the beach.  She walked this morning but I was working too early to walk.   I was working on a Power Point for work last night so it was a quiet evening for her first evening here.  I found her a book to read. 

The kids are coming this weekend.  Morgan and Dory of course are waiting on baby but Mark and Alison and Eric, Jessica and Ruby are coming.  House is not clean enough for a house full; just the room Gwen is in is clean!  So I will be cleaning in the evenings and Joe is helping. 

Just 3 more weeks until rental season.  Yuk!  Lots to do!!
